Obituary
Joseph Aaron Bradley, 84, of DeSoto passed away in High Ridge on January 30, 2012. Born December 8, 1927 in Lawrence, Kansas; he was the son of the late Arthur M. and Florence (nee Hodgeson) Bradley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen (McCormick) Bradley.

Mr. Bradley volunteered at the VA Jefferson Barracks Medical Center for 25 years; he liked bowling, shooting pool and was a legend at making pineapple upside down cake in a cast iron skillet. He was self-employed.

Mr. Bradley is survived by a son, James (Barbara) Bradley of High Ridge; a daughter, Carolyn (Michael Adams) Klump of Bowling Green; two brothers David (Jan) Bradley of Festus and Raymond (Mary) Bradley of Lemay; four sisters: Ruth Duncil of St. Clair, Sylvia (Norman) Borders of Trenton, Betty (Dennis) Auth of O'Fallon, Il and Mary (Richard) Allord of Madisonville, TX; three grandchildren, Joshua (Amber) Bradley, Joseph (Nicole) Bradley and Andrea Klump; 5 great-grandchildren, Jeffree Bradley, Jaxon Bradley, Justin Bradley, Jakub Bradley and Trevor Johnson.

Along with his wife and his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Homer Bradley and George Bradley; three sisters, Sadie Bradley, Bertha Bradley and Anna Bowman and a brother-in-law, Charles Duncil.
