Obituary
Kermit S. Cook Jr., age 63, of Festus, MO, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born on May 5, 1948, in St Louis, MO to the late Lillian (Williams) and Kermit S. Cook Sr.

He is survived by his spouse: Mary Brown Cook of St Louis, MO, son: John (Kelly) Cook of St Louis, daughters: Jessica Cook of St Louis, Kathleen Cook of St Louis and Marilyn Cook of St Louis, grandchildren: Jaren, Spencer, Adrien, Gabriel and Solomon, sisters: Lucretia (Felix) Dukes of Lenexa, KS, Kimberly (Paul) Bass of St Louis, MO, Joshlyn (Keith) Johnson of St Louis, and Lola Underwood of Festus, brother: Jeffrey Bingham of St Louis, stepmother: Priscilla (Gray) Bingham Cook of Festus, uncles and aunts: Ernest and Evelyn Cook of Festus, MO and Latham and Rose Robinson of St Louis, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Kermit was a retired Tech Sergeant from the United States Air Force. He served his country during the Vietnam War and was enlisted from July 1967 - July 1987. He was a member of the Mt Olive Missionary Baptist Church of Crystal City where he sang in the church choir. He loved singing, computers and telling jokes.
