Mickey A. Boles, Sr., 66, of DeSoto entered into rest on February 5, 2012 at his residence. Born February 21, 1945 in Indianapolis, IN.; he was the son of the late Carl and Pearl (nee McDonald) Boles. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Jean (nee Ruble) Boles of DeSoto.

Mr. Boles was a US Navy veteran having served during the Vietnam Era. He was a Commercial Aviation Fueler at Lambert International Airport in St. Louis. He loved basketball, enjoyed fishing, traveling and riding ATV's and motorcycles.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by a son, Mickey A. (Cindy) Boles, Jr. of Rolla, MO; two daughters, Tammy (Thomas) Turner of Elsberry, MO. and Nataye (Donnie) Recar of DeSoto; two brothers, Eddie (Sue) Cowsert of Ironton and Tommy (Lisa) Cowsert of Virginia; two sisters, Connie (David) Jones of Branson, MO and Patty (Mike) Nelson of Minnesota; four grandchildren, Mickey III, Ashley Jean, Dustin and Brandon; three great-grandchildren, Miranda, Noah and Hunter Lee.

Deacon Ed Boyer will officiate the funeral ceremony.
