Thomas "Wayne" Keaton, age 69, of Festus, entered into rest April 4, 2012 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Crystal City. He worked as a linesworker at Pittsburgh Plate Glass until he retired and was a U.S. Army veteran. Born January 8, 1943, in St Louis, to the late Elvoid and Lavella (Burgett) Keaton.

Survived by sons: Lester Shores of Festus, Kim Cook of Biloxi, MS, Terrell Cook of Crystal City and Sgt. Eoin Keaton of Ft. Knox, KY; daughters: Monique Keaton of Festus, Angela Walker of St Louis and Renata Cook of Festus; brother, Gilbert Keaton of Potosi; sister, Jacqueline (Robert Earl) Pace of Richmond Heights, MO; 6 grandchildren: Diallo Keaton-Boyce, Kiano Keaton-Boyce, Imani Walker, Jurelle Walker, Khari Kinder and Kamau Kinder; great-aunt, Evelyn Carter of Festus; and dear friends: Charles Casey of Festus, Harvey Charleston of Festus; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mr Keaton was a member of American Legion Post 253; he enjoyed sports, especially Cardinal baseball and he liked sitting on his porch visiting his friends.

Deacon Jerry Stoverink will officiate service.
