Obituary
Denise M. Parks, 62, of entered into rest on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at her Hillsboro residence. Born April 28, 1950 in Normandy, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Clifford "Doc" and D. Mae (LaPlant) Elliott. She leaves behind her loving husband of 42 years, Russell L. Parks of DeSoto.

Mrs. Parks was the mother of Zachary (Megan) Parks of Hillsboro and Amber M. Parks of DeSoto; and grandmother of one grandson, Nathan Zachary Parks; sister of Diane (Joe) Allen of Colorado Springs, CO, Charmaine (Dave) Alderson, O'Fallon, MO and Collette (Norman) Vinyard of Bonne Terre, MO. She is survived by several nieces and nephews: Lisa McClure of Colorado Springs, CO. Brian McClure of New Orleans, LA and Ross McClure of Colorado Springs,CO, Natalie (Alex) Miles of St. Peters, MO, Sara (Doug) Karsch of Bonne Terre, MO, Suzanne Mabery, Joey Vinyard and Saes Vinyard of Bonne Terre, MO, Steve (Cari) Hermes of Middleburg, FL, Suzi (Donald) Davis of Orange Park, FL, Jennie Parks of Frisco, TX, and Matt (Jennifer Scott) Parks of McKinney, TX; sixteen great nieces and nephews; great aunts, uncle and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her mother-in-law, Jacqueline (nee Scott) Parks.

Denise was a homemaker who enjoyed horseback riding, raising dogs and did quilting.

Rev. Gene Moses will officiate the service.
