Carmen Malee Harlow, age 84, entered into rest Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Crystal City. She had been a CNA at Castle Ranch Nursing Home in Hillsboro before she retired; she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, sewing, crocheting, camping, fishing and she sold Avon. Born November 5, 1928, in Hatfield, Indiana, to the late Edward and Lula Mae (Kemp) Wangler.

Survived by her loving family which includes sons: Walter E. (Pamela) Harlow of DeSoto, Michael E. ( Barbara) Harlow of Kokomo, IN, Robin Lee (Deborah) Harlow of Junction City, KS and David S. (Robin Lynn) Harlow of Hillsboro; daughters: Marguerita C. (W. Dale) Malin of Hillsboro and Carol Mae (Mike) Bequette of Hillsboro; brother, Alan (Doris) Wangler of Yankeetown, IN; sister, Belva Hutchinson of Waynesville, IN; 31 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; son-in-law, Louis Huber of DeSoto; daughter-in-law, Barbara Jean Harlow of Latimer, KS; and best friends: Lola Oglesby, Maxine Payne and Bud and Linda Hofmann all of Hillsboro. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Harlow and son, Douglas W. Harlow.

Erick Maxey Harlow will officiate service.

*** Graveside committal will be Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Bates Hill Cemetery,
