Harley G. Zavadil, 24, of French Village entered into rest on January 29, 2013 at his residence. Born on July 12, 1988 in Crystal City; he was the son of Jennifer L. (Benton) Kennedy of Florida and Guy J. Zavadil of Missouri. Harley loved music, art, poetry and writing. He was a musician.
His surviving family members are: his mother and step-father, Jennifer (Troy S.) Aye of Porta Gorda, Florida; father and step-mother, Guy J. (Donna J.) Zavadil of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; brothers: Joseph L. Zavadil of Lowell, FL, Rodney J. (Angela) Alford of Jackson, MO, and Tanner S. Backhus of Belleville, IL; sisters: Miranda Lindsey and Monique Lindsey, both of Fairview Heights, IL, Monica G. Alford of Matthews, MO and Lauren LaFollette, Waterloo, IL; grandparents: Kenneth W. and Loretta J. Zavadil of French Village, MO, James D. and Carol S. Benton of DeSoto, MO, Mary E. Carter of Cape Girardeau, MO and Bill E. and Wendy H. Aye of Punta Gorda, Fl; great-grandparents: Doris Madison of South Carolina and Hilda M. Benton of DeSoto. MO; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Cathay Benton.
