Obituary
Lora Leona Pierson, 80, (formerly of St. Clair) had resided in DeSoto for the past four years. Mrs. Pierson entered into rest on March 17, 2013 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker, liked crocheting, crafts, fishing, baking and cooking. Lora was born on February 26, 1933 in Williamsville, Missouri; she was the daughter of the late Artie and Ora (Boxx) Strange. Her husband, Charles Pierson preceded her in death.

Mrs. Pierson is survived by three sons: Gerrial (Connie) Stone of DeSoto, Marty (Linda) Campbell of Granite City, IL and Richard (Marika) Campbell of Deland, Florida; four brothers: Denver (Martha) Strange of Arnold, Donald (Geraldine) Strange of DeSoto, Doyle (Fran) Strange of Arnold and Ronald (Cathy) Strange of Londell; two sisters, Juanita Woffard of Desloge and Barbara (Terry) Christopher of St. Clair; seven grandchildren: Richie, Nicki, Cindy, Heather, Dawn, Brenda and Marika; and nine great-grandchildren: Landen, Aubrey, Anthony, Amber, Adain, Avery, Andrew, Michael and Megan; three sister-in-laws: Glenda Strange of Illinois, Francis Strange of Park Hils and Norma Strange of Warsaw, MO; also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers: Chandler Strange, Norval Strange, Emil Strange and Coy Strange, a brother-in-law, Arlie Woffard and one grandson, Frank. Also preceded in death by her loving dogs, Puffy and Puddles.

Pastor Raphael Anzivino will officiate the funeral ceremony.
