Paul F. Dickinson, age 90, of DeSoto, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 5, 2013 in Crystal City. Paul was born on April 5, 1923 in Blackwell, MO to the late William F. and Anna (nee Schlett) Dickinson. He is survived by his loving family which includes his wife; Jean (Nee Breakfield) Dickinson of DeSoto; sons: Kenneth (Tillie) Dickinson of DeSoto, Rick (Jennifer) Dickinson of Dallas, TX, Steve (Sharon) Dickinson of DeSoto; stepson, Kenny (Glenda) Pyle of Arnold; daughters: Debi (Michael) Roussin of Peoria, IL, Joyce Vega of Parrish, FL, Betty (Matt) Eddings of Bonne Terre; stepdaughter, Shirley (Dave) Kite of DeSoto; foster son, Dale Tomlinson of DeSoto; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Vivian (Lucas) Dickinson, daughter, Angela Stone, brothers; John, Francis and George Dickinson and sisters: Theresa Moorman and Laura Seyfarth;grandaughter, Tina (Stone) Feijo.
Paul was a farmer and a brick masonry contractor for many years. He was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus #1185 and a past Grand Knight, a member of the Amvets Post 48, and past vice-president of St. Vincent de Paul Society in DeSoto. He was an involved member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church for many years.
