Frank Orville Wasson, age 85, entered into rest Friday, June 7, 2013 at Baisch Nursing Center, DeSoto. He had worked as an electrician at General Motors and was a World War II US Navy veteran; he liked reading his Bible and Louis L'Amour western books and woodworking. Born January 19, 1928, in Morehouse, Missouri, to the late Frank R. and Louise (Rose) Wasson.
Survived by his loving family which includes his wife, Bertha (Downs) Wasson; sons: Daniel (Sarah) Wasson of House Springs and Ronald (Carrie) Wasson of Festus; daughters: Linda (Ronald) Stutts of Festus and Sandra (Steven) Ballew of Imperial; brothers: Richard Wasson of Cadet and David (Linda) Wasson of Highland, IL; grandchildren: Michael, Barbara, Donald, Rhonda (Michael), Kathy (Matt), Kyle (Danielle), Kirk, Ronald Jr (Paige), Holly and Christopher; and great grandchildren: Isabella, Brady, Ava and Hanley. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Paul Wasson and sister-in-law, Judy Wasson.
Reverend Arnold Mangus will officiate the service.
