Obituary
Cletus Ray Davenport, age 71, of Festus, MO, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at his residence. Born on May 27, 1941, in East Prairie, Missouri to the late Amos and Nona Pearl (Brown) Davenport. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years: Rena (Blechle) Davenport of Festus, MO, son: Dennis Davenport of St Charles, MO, daughter: Sheila (Denny) Conley of Robertsville, MO, grandchildren: Anastasia Conley, Michael Conley, Tim (Ashley) Conley, Brandon (Erica) Davenport, and Kenielle Davenport, great grandchildren: Angie Lee Davenport and Peyton Davenport, brothers: Leroy Davenport of Charleston, MO, Bruce Davenport of Lilburn, GA, AJ (Phyllis) Davenport of Jackson, TN, Eugene Davenport of St Louis, MO, Kenny (Debi) Davenport of St Louis, MO and Darrell (Charlotte) Davenport of Chattanooga, TN, sisters: Bonnie (Richard) Evans of Foley, MO, Mary Lou (Bud) Russell of Great Mills, MD, Anita (Tom) Earle of Craig, CO and Georgia Hagen of East Prairie, MO along with nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

He was a self employed barber at Clete's Barbershop in Maplewood for many years. He was a United States Army Airborne veteran who served during the Vietnam era. He loved Elvis Presley, NASCAR, riding motorcycles, fishing, canning, gardening and traveling.
