Obituary
Walter John Bondurick, 87, (formerly of Richwoods, Missouri) entered into rest on July 6, 2013 in Ballwin, Missouri. He was a truck driver for Yellow Freight Company until he retired. Walter served in the US Navy, three years during World War II as a Gunner's Mate 3rd Class. He earned five Battle Stars, the Victory Medal and a Unit Presidential Citation. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 611 and VFW Post 6274. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and rock collecting. Born July 15, 1925 in DeSoto; he was the son of the late John and Mary (Lashook) Bondurick.

His surviving family members are: his loving wife of 66 years, Rose Marie (Roderique) Bondurick, three daughters: Jill Firebaugh of Sullivan,MO, Jan (Andy Foulds) Kreienkamp of Union, MO, and Jackie (Chris) Zengel of Overland, MO; eight grandchildren: Stephanie, Mac, Shawn, Billy, Kyle, Terri, Jessi and Cayley; and he was a great-grandfather of six. He also leaves behind his bird, Bo.

Mr. Bondurick was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters & their spouses, Ella (Bob) Suiter and Lena (Mills) Horton; a son, Terry Bondurick, a daughter, Carol McNamara, a son-in-law, Bobby Overturf, as well as many friends and his two dogs, Hershey 1 and Hershey 2.
