Obituary
Steven Joseph Ashrook, age 44, of Festus, Missouri entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St Louis. Born on March 20, 1969, in El Dorado, Arkansas, he was the son of Victor and Judy (Newsom) Ashbrook of Valles Mines, MO. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife: Amy (Womble) Ashbrook of Festus, MO, son: Adison and wife Jessica Ashbrook of Festus, MO, daughters: Aleyce and husband Joshua of Desloge, MO, Jamie Ashbrook of Festus, MO and Angel Ashbrook of Festus, MO, his biological father: Glenn Smith of South Carolina, mother and father in law: Carole and James Womble of Festus, MO, brothers: Stuart and wife Julia Ashbrook of Festus, MO, Chad and wife Addie Smith of Tennessee and Victor and wife Tanja of Virginia, sister: Sally and husband Clay Lovett of North Carolina, brother in laws: James and wife Ileana Womble and Troy Womble, nieces and nephews: Troy Womble, David and Emily Womble, Kayla and Donovan Womble, Monica Grajales, Carlos Nieves, Ariana Nieves, Crystal and Nathan Ashbrook, Ben Smith, Ellie Mae Smith, Elizabeth Lovett, and Will Lovett, along with cousins, aunts, uncles and a host of many friends.

Steve and his wife are owners of Get A Clue LLC of Festus. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He was in the IT business from 1993-2012 and was a computer systems administrator for Verizon. He was a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association and was a CMA Missouri State Intercessor Lead. He was the chaplain for the Festus Chapter of the Harleys Owners Group (HOGS) and was a member of the Arnold and Twin City Chamber of Commerce and First Creation Christian Church. He enjoyed hunting, motorcycles and spreading the gospel.
