John C. Dust, 68, of Hillsboro entered into rest on October 4, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Dust was a Vietnam Era veteran, having served in the US Army. He was a Specialist Mill Worker for Lowe's. He enjoyed fishing, working puzzles, video games and liked building things. Born December 25, 1944 in St. Louis, MO; he was the son of the late William C. and Margaret (Mraz) Dust.
Survived by his wife, Marsha (Benjamin) Dust of Hillsboro; a son, Brian Dust of Arkansas; three daughters: Kelly Valentini and Shelly Andrews both of Arkansas, Jennifer Noonan of St. Charles, MO and Karie Dust of Hillsboro, MO; three sisters: Kathy Dust of Imperial, MO, Peggy Ford (Sid) Dust of Marion, IL, and Betty (Dan) Fitzgerald of Imperial, MO; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, William Dust.
