Clyde M. Warden, 82, of DeSoto entered into eternal rest on December 2, 2013 at his home. Clyde was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He had worked in the parts department for General Motors Corporation; was a member of the UAW Local 25. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren. Born May 28, 1931 in Cadet, MO; he was the son of the late John and Mary (Bequette) Warden, Sr.. He leaves behind his loving wife of sixty-one years, Jessie (Ross) Warden.
Other surviving family members along with his wife are two sons: Barry Warden of Cadet and Steve (Pam) Warden of DeSoto; two daughters: Nona (Gil) Alderson of DeSoto and Cheryl (Donnie) Mitchell of DeSoto; eight grandchildren: Sarah, David, Alex, Tosha, Jessica, Joshua, Christopher and Bradley; six great-grandchildren: Renee, Abigail, Logan, Ella, Emma and Paci; and one sister, Verlaine Altmix of Arnold.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Gary R. Warden; four sisters: Theresa Osia, Patricia McCurdy, Lucille Eads and Ruth Ann Coan; three brothers: John Warden, Jr., James Warden and Ronald Warden.
A prayer service will be officiated by Deacon Ed Boyer on Wednesday evening. Father Alex Anderson will be officiating the Mass.
