Zemerue "Kim" Greenlee, age 97, entered into rest Friday, January 17, 2014 at Fountainbleau Nursing Center in Festus. Born September 19, 1916, in Powhatan, Arkansas, to the late William S. and Fannie E. (Milligan) Faulkner. She had owned Faulkner's Restaurant in Arkansas; she delighted in telling the story of Bill Clinton frequently coming in her restaurant, her "Harley Davidson" tales plus many other stories about her life experiences. She enjoyed reading her Bible, visiting with friends and family and cooking.
Survived by her family which includes a stepson, Earl (Cecelia) Greenlee of Festus, MO; stepdaughters: Bernice Bollinger of Bloomsdale, MO and Charlotte Merritt of Perryville, MO and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl Greenlee who passed away April 27, 1989; stepdaughters: Wanita Cartee, Earlene Hochstatter, Ruth Hulvey and Doris Nash; and siblings: J.W. Faulkner, Madge Carder and Claudia Bartell.
Reverend Jim Owens will officiate graveside service.
