Billie Jack Harris, age 82 of High Ridge, entered into rest July 5, 2014 at St Anthony's Medical Center, St Louis. He had worked as a machinist in the railway industry and was a member of Church of Christ in High Ridge; he liked being outdoors, just to sit and relax under a shade tree, and enjoy the surroundings. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in the Korean War. Born December 4, 1931, in Pocahontas, AR, to the late Estell and Eacel (Hullifron) Harris.
Survived by his family which includes his wife, Earlene (Cleaves) Harris; sons: Jackie (Lisa) Harris of FL, David Harris of High Ridge, MO and Steven (Cindy) Harris of High Ridge, MO; daughter, Donna Harris of Hillsboro, MO; sisters: Eugenia Agee of St Louis, MO and Freida Handley of Dittmer, MO; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers: Stanley Harris, Rayburn Harris and Brownie Harris; and sister, Aldeana Agee.
