Obituary
Earline June (Scott) Whitter, age 75, of Festus, MO entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Hillcrest Care Center in Desoto. Born on March 18, 1939, in Herculaneum, MO to the late Rudolph Joseph Scott and Stella Mae (Lancaster) Scott Kling Priest.

She is survived by her sons: Alan Whitter and wife Diana of Hematite, MO, Michael Whitter and wife Becky of Desoto, MO and Scott Ray Whitter of Pigeon Forge, TN, daughter: Monica Warden of Desoto, MO, grandchildren: Carl Whitter, Stacy Whitter, Jesse Whitter, Christopher Whitter, Eric Whitter, Josh Welker, Sam Whitter and Elijah Cartwright - Whitter, great grandchildren: Tyler Whitter and Sophia Whitter, brothers: Wayne Scott of Las Vegas, NV and Howard Scott and wife Gerry of Festus, MO, sisters: Wilma Scott of Hillsboro, MO, Alma Ashberry of Chester, IL, Connie Williams of Desoto, MO, sister in law: Brenda Scott of Festus, MO, and special friends: Larry and Debbie Blaha of Festus, MO and Gary and Nancy Schmidt of St Louis, MO. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Carla Michelle Whitter, brother: Joe Scott, sister in law: Shirley Scott, and sisters: Lavern Thebeau Curtis and twin: Caroline Valle.

She was a former certified nurses aide and caregiver for Festus Manor Nursing Home and Westview Nursing Home. She enjoyed puzzle books, jigsaw puzzles, and she collected dolls and unicorns.
