Obituary
James E. "Jim" Hicks, age 61, of Cadet, Missouri, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 29, 2014 at his home. Jim was born on May 24, 1953 to the late Raymond and Jean P. (Nee Graves) Hicks in Bonne Terre, Missouri. He was a truck driver for Jeff Haverstick Trucking in Bellview, MO. He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church and loved his family and horses.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Elaina (Nee Whitehead) Hicks of Cadet, sons; Lawrence Hicks of Festus, Gary (Kendra) Floyd of Imperial, Jake Hicks of Washington County, and Chris Mcillwain of Cadet, MO, daughters; Lisa Johnson of Potosi, Rachel Fischer of Farmington, Cassandra Hicks of Farmington and Megan Hicks of Cadet,Grandchildren; Desteny, CJ, Camden, Mason, Abigale, Gabby, Gracie, Kylie, Lynn, Bryan, Randy, Lacey, Tim Jr., Wyatt, Corey and Amber, Great Grandchildren; Gabby, Tyler, Allison and Cole, Brothers; John (Sue) Hicks of Cadet, Albert Hicks of Cadet, Raymond (Pam) Hicks of Cadet and Paul Hicks of Potosi, sisters; Carol (Garry) McDonald of Alpine, TN, Elizabeth (Garry) Boyster of Farmington and Virginia (Jerry) Detter of De Soto.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Dennis Hicks, and a grandson, Anthony.

The service will be officiated by Brother John Hicks and Pastor Charles. Miller.
