Obituary
Albert "Al" Trask, Sr., age 73, of DeSoto, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at his home in DeSoto. Al was born on February 17, 1941 in Ashley, Illinois to the late Wayne Trask and Virginia (Nee Hoecle) Harris. He worked as a union carpenter out of Local 2214 Carpenters Union for 54 years. He was a member of the Elks #1741 in Festus and the Amvets Post #48 in DeSoto.

Al is survived by his loving wife of over 30 years, Judie (Nee Baker) Trask of DeSoto, sons, Mike (Mandy) Trask of Festus, Scott Carpenter of DeSoto, daughter, Cindy Trask of Bonne Terre, grandchildren; Tori Trask, Alex Trask, Dominic Trask, Micayla Trask, Abby Pikey, and Paige Pikey, brothers; Charles (Palmie) Trask of Ste. Genevieve, David (Cathy) Trask of Festus, sisters, Mona Smith of Crystal City, Kerri (Gary) Hayes of Festus, and Kate (Chris) Anderson of Florida, and Step-Mother, Loreen Trask of Festus. Al is also survived by sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Al Trask, Jr., and a brother Jerry Trask.
The service will be officiated by Reverend Gene Moses.
