James D. Theodoro, Jr, 86, of Crystal City entered into rest September 29, 2014 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Crystal City, MO. He was owner of One Stop Motor & Boat in Festus, former owner of Theodoro's Restaurant, Merchant Marine veteran serving our country during WW II, attended First Baptist Church of Festus and was a lifetime member of Elks 1721; he was an avid Cardinal fan, enjoyed playing craps at the casinos, hunting and fishing. Born April 20, 1928, in DeSoto, Missouri, to the late James D. and Safronia (Fischer) Theodoro, Sr.
Survived by his loving family which includes sons: L. Gene (the late Judy) Markotay of Festus, MO, Edward (Mary Jane) Theodoro of Table Rock, MO, Gary Lee (Linda) Theodoro of DeSoto ,MO and James D. Theodoro III of New Martinsville, WV; daughters: Vicki Markotay of Festus, MO and Lisa (David Cross) Trunk of Festus, MO; brother: David (Diana) Theodoro of Hillsboro, MO; sister: Mary Ann Hamilton of High Ridge, MO; grandchildren: Laurie Watson, Todd (Megan) Theodoro, Eddie (Mitzi) Theodoro, Jonathan (Laura) Trunk, David (Jennifer) Trunk, Mark (Shannon) Markotay, Robert Ray, Amanda Theodoro and Theresa Theodoro; 8 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; special friends: Sheila Villmer of Festus, MO and Dori "Stumpy" Stumpf of Crystal City, MO and dogs: Maxx and Schultz. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma (Nall) Theodoro and sister, Delores Yarbrough.
Pastor Wilburn Hinch and Pastor Jim Waymire officiated service.
