Lee Elvin Manning, age 82, of Festus, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 8, 2015 in Crystal City. Lee was born on January 19, 1933 to the late Robert F. Manning and Grace (nee Graham Manning in DeSoto. Lee was a self-employed painter who enjoyed cutting grass, fixing cars, "tinkering" on small engines, lawn mowers, and painting. He loved spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church. Lee served during Korean War in the United States Army.

Lee is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Geraldine (nee Huskey) Manning, sons: Robert (Genita) Huskey of Parson, TN, Keith Huskey of Festus, Randy Manning of Festus, Brian (Deborah) Manning of DeSoto, daughter, Denise (nee Manning) (Ken) Gebhardt of Festus, grandchildren: Shawn, Chad, Lisa, Ryan, Casey, Alex, Joshua, and Emily, great-grandchildren: Charlee, Lane, Brandon, Kayla, Jaxon, and Easton, many loving nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Robert C. Manning, and a sister; Darlene Worden.

Funeral service will be assisted with military honors.
