Obituary
Della Marie Selmon, 45, of Crystal City, Missouri entered into rest January 2, 2016 at Missouri Baptist Hospital, St Louis. Born March 17, 1970, in St Louis, to the late Earl Selmon and Diane (Underwood) Selmon of Crystal City, MO. She had worked at Jefferson College as a financial aid advisor and had served for 15 years as Crystal City Councilwoman Ward I. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where served as Eucharistic minister, member of Mount Zion Cemetery, VFW Post 3777 Auxiliary, American Legion Post 253 Auxiliary, Concerned Parents Organization of Jefferson County, St Vincent DePaul Society, Crystal City Park Board and she and her sisters, Josalyn and Laura, were a trio as the Selmon Sisters Gospel Singers.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her loving family which includes her daughter: DiRina Selmon; sisters: Josalyn (Joe) Dunlap of Festus, MO, Laura Selmon of Crystal City, MO, and Jaclyn Wallace of Sparta, IL; brothers: Brad Selmon of New Orleans, LA, Justice Selmon of Crystal City,MO and Steven (Bonnie) Selmon of Chicago, IL; uncles: Gary (Lois) Underwood of Festus,MO, Rodney Underwood of Crystal City, MO, Dennis (Judy) Underwood of MN, Angeles "Sonny" (Marjorie) Selmon of NY aunts: Pamela (Mark) Cook-Day of AL, Gloria Campbell of St Louis, MO, Clemmie (Michael) Moore of St Louis, MO, Brenda Curry of St Louis, MO and Lola Underwood of Festus, MO; great uncle: Lester (Beverly) Riney of UT; and special dad: Lawrence Casey of Herculaneum, MO. In addition to her father, Earl Selmon, she is preceded in death by sister: Earline Selmon; brother: Earl Selmon, Jr; grandparents: Lester & Blondell Underwood and William Selmon & Addie Moore; uncle: Leslie Underwood; aunts: Ruth McLemore and Mary Maxie-Williams.

Father Edward Nemeth will officiate Mass.
