Eddie Darrell Fisher, 79, entered into rest February 11, 2016 at his Pevely residence. Born March 19, 1936, in Gorman TN, to the late Herman and Susie (Woolverton) Fisher.

Survived by his loving family which includes his wife of 43 years: Mary Nell (Napier) Fisher; sons: Brian Fisher of St Louis, MO and Edward (DeeDee) Fisher,Jr of St Louis, MO; daughters: Deanna Kay (John) Logan of Cedar Hill, MO and Vicki Jones of Farmington, MO; 18 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren; brother: Shorty (Sue Youngblood)Fisher of Pevely MO; sister-in-laws: Mildred Fisher of Bonnie, IL and Ruby Fisher of OK. He was preceded in death by brothers; Walter, Louis, and Billy; sister: Bonnie Mitchell; sister-in-laws: Lois Fisher, Frances Fisher; and brother-in-law; Shorty Mitchell.

He had worked as a press brake operator at American Car Foundry for 19 years and was a member of Barnhart General Baptist Church; he was a member of AFL-CIO Union for most of his working life. He had previously been employed by Smith & Davis Mfg. Co. and American Loose Leaf of St Louis. After he retired he was known as "The Lawn Mower Man" because he enjoyed refurbishing lawn equipment. He also enjoyed fishing, country music, puzzles traveling, gardening and stock car racing. To his friends and family he was affectionately known as "Beaver" and will be remembered for his great sense of humor and will be greatly missed.

Brother Jimmy Brown and Brother Darrell Jones will officiate the service. Pallbearers are: Caleb Curtis, Cody Logan, Brenden Nation, Dominick Nation, Jacob McAntire and Nick French.
