Obituary
Margie Ann Shipp, age 71 of Hillsboro, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital. Margie was born on November 1, 1944 in Boothill, MO to the late Cecil and Florence (Nee Braddum) Massey. She was a cook at Hillcrest Nursing Center in DeSoto. Her hobbies included; painting angels, playing dominoes, yatzee, cooking, dancing, taking pictures. She greatly enjoyed taking care of family and cooking breakfast. She collected angels and hummingbirds and enjoyed swimming at the YMCA.

She is survived by her loving family, sons; Arnold "Lee" (wife, Ashley) Shipp Jr of Hillsboro, James (wife, Verna) Sprous of Lubbock, TX, Kenneth Sprous of Oklahoma City, OK, daughters; Melody (Husband, Dwight) Spurgin II of DeSoto, Susan (husband, Michael) Hendrix of DeSoto, Lisa (husband, Kevin)Lehman of Hillsboro, grandchildren; Roseanna, Samantha, Caitlyn, Collin, Douglas, Jonathan, Jeremy, Steven, Joshua, Marissa, Victoria, Ethan and Gavin and 8 Great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arnold Leo Shipp Jr, her parents, brothers; Pete (Wanda) Massey, Jack (Claetta) Massey, Charles Massey, an infant, sisters; Eunice (Johnny) Gilbow, Margaret Ann (George) Butrum, Christine (Ronnie)Schaeffer, Dora Mae (Donnald) Eakes.

Pastor Jim Richman will officiate the service.
