Joseph Albert Dvorak, 84, of DeSoto entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Hillcrest Nursing Center. Joseph served Hinge Company. He enjoyed cutting grass, watching hockey, bowling and was a member of the Knights of Columbus of DeSoto, VFW Post 1831 in DeSoto and Good Shepherd Catholic Church of Hillsboro. Born in St. Louis, Missouri on Thursday, July 16, 1931 to the late Gustave and Sophia (Nee Swehla) Dvorak.

Surviving family members are his honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a truck driver for Hagar loving wife, Delores (Nee Boyer) Dvorak; a daughter, Carolyn J. (husband, Richard) Merseal of Blackwell, MO; six grandchildren: Matt (wife, Krista) Merseal, Erica Merseal (and friend, Amy Jackson), Catherine (husband, Clint) Wicker, Brandon Merseal, Jeffrey Merseal, and Bradley Merseal; seven great-grandchildren, Payton, Tanner, Emmalyn, Miyah, Alex, Elayna and Lee; and three great-great-grandchildren, Ella, Lucy and Liam.

Father Chris Holtmann will officiate the funeral mass.
