Obituary
Lanelle Ruby (Hines)Burlingame, 68, of Mapaville entered into rest June 24, 2016 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital, Festus. She was born in Baird, Texas on November 9, 1947 to John and Ida Fay (Green) Hines. She was the youngest of eight children. It was at Baldwin Park Church of Christ in California where she met a handsome marine, Philip Ellis Burlingame. Phil and Lanelle were married on July 30, 1966. They lived in Santa Rosa and Glendale before arriving in McKinleyville, California in 1975. It was there that they had their two children, Jami and Adam. Many fond memories and dear friends were made during the family's 13 years in Humboldt County. In 1988 they moved across the country to Hillsboro, Missouri. Throughout her life, Lanelle held various positions in the medical field and eventually attained her RN degree in 1995. She continued working as a nurse the remainder of her life; she had worked 20 years in cardiac rehab at Mercy Jefferson Hospital. She was a member of Cross Point Church and she enjoyed gardening and reading but most of all she loved her grandchildren. She loved the Lord and taught her children and grandchildren that a relationship with Christ is of the utmost importance.

Survived by her loving family which includes her husband of 50 years: Philip E. Burlingame; son: Adam (Kristy) Burlingame of St Peters, MO; daughter: Jami (David) Dalton of O'Fallon, MO; siblings: Chuck (Rosie) Hines, Leonard (Linda) Hines, Mary Harte and Sharon White all of California; and grandchildren: Luke, Aaron, Samuel and Ellis.
