Kenneth Charles Hackleman, 64 years, of DeSoto, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the VA John Cochran Hospital, St Louis. "Ken" was born in Highland, Illinois on November 24, 1951; the son of the late Everett and Ruby (Nee Porter) Hackleman. His wife, Barbara (Nee Carlisle) Hackleman preceded him in death.
Ken served in the United States Army and was a self-employed contractor. He enjoyed wood working, motorcycles and traveling.
Surviving family members are two sons, Michael Carlisle of Florida and Brian (wife, Melissa) Harper of Arnold, Missouri; three daughters, Amy (husband, John) Inman and Rebecca Harper all of DeSoto, Missouri and Brittany (husband, Mark) Elders of Swansea, Illinois; a sister-in-law, Vicky Curtis of Illinois; two brothers, Alan (wife, Debbie) Hackleman of Red Bud, Illinois and John (wife, Judy) Linde of Arizona; two sisters, Brenda (husband, Paul) Santel-Sprayberry of Ocean Springs, Mississippi and Sherry Brink of Fairview Heights, Illinois; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Also preceeding him in death are a son, Connor Hackleman, two brothers, Connor Hackleman and Roy Hackleman; step-mother, Hilda Pat Hackleman and a brother-in-law, John Brink.
