Myrtle Alice Mahn, age 82, of DeSoto entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 27, 2016. Myrtle was born February 2, 1934 in Water Valley, Mississippi to the late Buford T. and Rose Alice (Larkin) Henderson. She worked as a jewelry salesperson at Famous Barr; was a Founding Member of Gateway Carnival Glass Club, a volunteer at Mercy Hospital Gift Shop, President of Pink Ladies Altar Guild at Redeemer Luthern, a member of WELCA and owned "Presents from the Past" antique shop in DeSoto. She greatly enjoyed gardening, flowers, bird watching, and was a Neil Diamond fan.

Myrtle is survived by her loving family which include son: Biff (Gale) Mahn of Hillsboro, MO; daughters: Debbie (Fred) DeGeare of DeSoto, MO, Vicki Jackson of Plano, TX, Beth (Jimmy) Ross of DeSoto, MO, Barb Rein of Ellington, CT; brother: B.T (Francine) Henderson of DeSoto, MO; sister: Sally (the late Carl) Jett of Lebanon, TN; grandchildren: Rachel (Todd) Mullis, Denise (Kevin) Klein, Derick (Kelley Hitt) DeGeare, Jake (Kasey) Jackson, J.P. (Courtney Cooper) Mahn, Gabe (Shawnee) Mahn, Jessica Dickemann, Alyse (Matt) Webber, Christopher Rein, Mathew Rein & Michael Rein; great-grandchildren: Sean (Hilda) Mullis, Danielle Mullis, Colton Mullis, Caleb Klein, Lilly Klein, Colin Jackson, Carter Jackson & Harlold Hitt-DeGeare; special friend: Virginia Lee Isgrigg of DeSoto and her dog K.J.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bernard Mahn, Jr; parents Buford and Rose Alice (Larkin) Henderson; brothers: Buddy Henderson, Teddy Henderson, Melvin (Maude) Henderson; and sister Bonita (Toby) Reynolds.

Reverend Gene Moses and Pastor Mike Rose will officiate the services.
