Obituary
Jack Arnold Viehman, 84, of DeSoto, Missouri entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus. He had worked as a carpenter at Hoel Steffen construction and LD Compton; was a Life Time member and a 3rd degree of the Knights of Columbus # 1185, a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Carpenters Union #2214, and past President of of the Sunrise School Board. In his spare time he greatly enjoyed fishing, camping and he liked old cars. He was born in Dixson, Illinois on May 26, 1932 to his late parents, Arnold and Edna (Chamberlain) Viehman.

Survived by his loving family which includes his loving wife of 64 years, Josephine (Solomon) Viehman of De Soto, MO; sons: Louis "Butch" (Susan) Viehman of DeSoto, MO, Kenneth (Leanne) Viehman of DeSoto, MO; daughter Karen (Marvin) Williams of Desoto, MO; sister Shirley (the late Martell) Mills of Kimberling City, MO; grandchildren: Jeff (Jill) Viehman, Tara Viehman, Michelle Rousin, Aaron Hinkley, Stephaine Hinkley, Samantha (Colby) Bone, Megan Emily, Jacob Viehman, Ryan (Michelle) Brase, Josh Brase, Katie (Adam) Vallow; great-grandchildren: Brandon (wife Tiffany), Grant, Ava, Leah, Abby, Micah, Aaden, Rhett, Jessica, Cami, Caitlyn, Alexes, Timothy; great-great grandaughter Elizabeth; and a brother-in-law Charlie Hoelzel.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son Roger Viehman; brothers: James (the late Beverly) Viehman, Thomas Viehman; sisters: Margaret (the late Earl) Bradford and Norma (Charlie) Hoelzel.

Father Alexander Anderson will officiate the Mass.
