Lane Morehead 66 of Desoto, Missouri entered into eternal rest on December 16, 2016 at his residence. Born on April 17, 1950 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Cleatis and Wilda (Greathouse) Morehead.
He was a retired construction worker for Laborer's Union Local #110. He owned Lane's Mobil Service Station in New Port Richey, FL for 20 years and was a member of Mount Olive Methodist Church. Lane enjoyed his farm, gardening and taking care of the animals; liked classic cars and was an avid horse rescuer at his Yellow Rock Stables.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Janet (Schott) Morehead of Desoto, MO; daughters: Christy (Jeff) Venturo of Blackwell, MO and Carrie (Jerry) Sorrentino of Boyertown, Pa; grandchildren: Bailey, Rylee and Trenton.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Phyllis Dinnius.
