Obituary
Alvin "Al" R. Nance age 90 of DeSoto, Missouri entered into eternal rest on December28, 2016 at Mercy Jefferson in Festus, Missouri. Born on September 22, 1926 in Ancel, Missouri to the late Jess Nance and Pearl (Basey) Nance.

He was a supervisor for Consolidated Frieghtway and a honorably discharged veteran of the US Army having served in World War II. He was a Chapter member of Elks O'Fallon, Masonic Lodge 407, Scottish Rite Valley of St. Louis and the Moolah Shriners International.

Survived by his wife Janet (French) Nance of Desoto, Missouri; sons Thomas (Wendy) Harris of Festus, Missouri and Gerald (Laura) Harris of DeSoto, Missouri; daughters Rebecca Angeli of Springfield, Missouri, Lisa Nance of Pleasant Hope, Missouri, Kimberly (Rick) McCallister of Pleasant Hope, Missouri, Terri Harris of DeSoto, Missouri and Deborah Riggs of Willard, Missouri; brother Jimmy (Janet) Nance of Ellington, Missouri; grandchildren Tia McCallister, Ashley Stratton, Allison Schmidt, Andrew Angeli, Justin Harris, Emma Harris, Tyler Brier, Dylan Brier, Autumn Harris, Conner Harris, Dustin Riggs and Claudia Kanioski; great grandchildren Judah Easter and Perry Stratton.

Preceded in death by his parents; brothers Pat Nance and Lloyd Nance; sisters Virginia Cook, Gladys Seabaugh, Betty Manley, Ruth Deslauries and Cleo Nance.
