Vivian Veronica DeGeare, age 100 entered into rest February 10, 2017 at DeGreef Hospice House, St Louis. She had worked as a Glass Inspector for Pittsburg Plate Glass and had been involved in Scout Mothers, Lady's Sodality and a chapel volunteer. Born September 15, 1916, in Festus, MO, to the late John Bernard and Sadie Mary (Boyer) Esch. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew H. DeGeare.
Suvived by sons; Paul (Joy) DeGeare of Arnold, MO, Richard (the late Frannie) DeGeare of Festus, MO, David (Melody) DeGeare of Maryland Heights, MO; daughters: Donna (the late Claude) Keathley of Crystal City, MO, Sharon (Clarence Placht) Schmidt of St Louis, MO, Phyllis Polk of Crystal City, MO, Margaret (Bill) Weibking of Festus, MO; son-in-laws: Dennis (Debbie) Warden of Hematite, MO and Richard Schmidt of Kirkwood, MO; brother: Richard (Joan) Esch of Festus, MO; sister-in-law: Bonnie Esch of Festus, MO; special friend: Rev Ted Pieper; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a daughter: Beverly Warden; brothers: Bernard Esch and John Pershing "Bud" (the late Valle "Chick") Esch; and sisters: Ruth Clifton, Margie Coleman, Alice Curry, Bernice Chamberlain.
