Obituary
Daniel J. "Danny" Mahn, 56, of DeSoto, Missouri, entered into eternal rest Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital. He was the cemetery sexton of Calvary Catholic Cemetery in DeSoto, employee of Mahn Funeral Home, and former owner of Mahn Towing. Danny was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and DeSoto Elks Lodge 689; he greatly enjoyed his dogs Tequila and Chopper; hobbies included fishing, hunting, board games and word games. Born December 24, 1960, in Festus, Missouri, to his late father Edward "Ed" J. Mahn and his mother Doris J. (Vance) Mahn of Desoto.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son Nathaniel Mahn of DeSoto, MO; daughter Jennifer (Neil) Goff of Fort Stewart, GA; brother Roy Lee (Carol) Lewis of Anaheim, CA; sister Sandra (Edward) Lewis-Dahl of Larkspur, CO; grandchildren: Josie Goff and Joel Goff; nieces: Lisa Mahn-Donnell of DeSoto, MO, Jamie Mahn of DeSoto, MO, Sarah Dahl of Boston, MA, Sarah Tava of Irvine, CA; nephews: Greg Dahl of Denver, CO, Dr. Eric Dahl of Columbus, OH, Barton Dahl of Denver, CO; eleven great nieces and nephews and two great-great nieces; four aunts and numerous cousins.

In addition to his father Edward Mahn Sr. he is preceded in death by his brother Edward "Jimmy" James Mahn Jr.

Elks Service at 7:00 pm on Friday evening at Mahn Funeral Home Chapel.

A Eulogy given by Todd Mahn at 9:30 am in the chapel at Mahn Funeral Home with Funeral procession to follow.

Father Alexander Anderson will officiate the funeral Mass.
