Obituary
Alden "Stu" Stewart age 93 of DeSoto, Missouri entered into eternal rest on January 15, 2018 at Hillcrest Nursing Center in DeSoto, Missouri. Born on June 28, 1924 in Webbville, Kentucky to his late parents Max and Candice Mae (Chaffin) Stewart.

Stu was a proud World War II veteran having served in the United States Navy. A member of the Pilgrims Rest Church in Ware, Missouri as well as the Elks Lodge and Amvets Post#48 of DeSoto, Missouri. He was retired from General Motors and Missouri Pacific Railroad. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with family and friends.

Survived by his children, daughters Carol (Skip) Newbury of DeSoto, Missouri and Pam (Dennis) Young of DeSoto, Missouri; sons Ronald (Sandy) Stewart of DeSoto, Missouri, George Stewart of Bonne Terre, Missouri and Jim (Cheryl) Stewart of Bloomsdale, Missouri; sister Ethel Harwood of Grayson, Kentucky; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife Patsy (Johnson) Stewart; his parents; brothers Jay and Maxwell Stewart; sisters Vera Sowers, Gloria Perry and Merlie McDavid.
