Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family

Jerry Devon Hart, age 72 of Hillsboro, Missouri entered into rest April 3, 2018 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus. He had been a helicopter pilot for 13 years in the U.S. Army and a Vietnam veteran. Jerry was a member of the V.F.W. Post 3777; he was guitarist/singer with the "Mostly Country" band and they played weekly at the DeSoto Community Center. He enjoyed music, cars and spending time with family and friends. Born June 7, 1945, in Little Black, Arkansas, to the late Claude Dawson and June Lucinda (Spencer) Hart.

Survived by his loving family which includes his wife, Lois "Jean" (Nabors) Hart, children, Dale Devon (Connie) Hart of St Charles, MO, Candace (John) Craig of Winchester, KY, Gayla Dougan of AR, step-children, Don (Dena) Reddick of Bourbonnais, IL, Randy (Kristine) Reddick of Bethalto, IL and Pennie Reddick-Craemer of Hillsboro, MO, sister, Pat (Dion) Colbert of Calico Rock, AR, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Kay Mullins.

Reverend Terry Simpkins will officiate the service.
