Obituary
Mary Marie Becquette, age 82, entered into rest April 9, 2018 at Scenic View Nursing Center, Herculaneum, MO. She was retired as head housekeeper at Union Pacific Railroad Kenneth's Castle. Mary was very active in the community being a member of Douglas Alumni, Mt Zion Cemetery Board, Peacemakers, Crystal City Library Board, St Vincent DePaul Society, Daughters of Isabella, American War Mothers, volunteer at John Cochran VA Hospital, American Legion 253 Auxiliary, Eucharistic Minister at Sacred Heart Church and Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and was awarded 2007 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Drum Major Award. Born September 15, 1935, in Herculaneum, Missouri, to the late Russell and Mabel (Taylor) Jackson.

Survived by her loving family which includes son, Wyatt J. Becquette III of Herculaneum, MO and Russell L. (Tammy) Becquette of Westchester, OH, daughter, Suzanne M. Lewis of Hamilton, OH, sister, Gloria (John) Becquette of Jupiter, FL, aunt, Thelma Taylor of Herculaneum, MO, sister-in-law, Mary Brown of Festus, MO, special nieces, Deborah (Fletcher) Mayes of FL and Diane (David) McCain of VA, grandchildren, Wyatt Becquette IV, Corey Becquette, Aubree Becquette, Austin Becquette, Drew Lewis, and Miana Becquette, great granddaughter, Lillian and her little dog, Chloey. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Wyatt James Becquette, Jr, aunt, Ruth (Milton) Adams.
