Leroy "Lug" McAnally, age 84 entered into rest Monday, May 27, 2019 at his Crystal City residence. He had retired from River Cement Company/Buzzi Unicem and was a US Army veteran; he was a member of Festus-Crystal City Elks Post 1721 and was a talented craftsman and hard worker who enjoyed working around his home. Born October 11, 1934, in Grubville, Missouri, to the late Fermon and Ova (Rider) McAnally.
Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, JoAnn (Thompson) McAnally, daughters, Lisa (Steve) Warmbold of St Louis, Kay (Chett) Schmitt of Philadelphia, PA, Deanna (Jerry) Faigle of Imperial and Sue Ellen Mangin, sister, Delores Hamel of DeSoto, grandchildren, Taylor Denny, Madison Manning, J.T. Faigle, Zack Warmbold, Mitch Warmbold, Nick Warmbold and Spencer Schmitt, great grandchildren, Cameron Manning, Joel Manning, Katie Denny and Melanie Denny, numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers, Robert McAnally, Leon McAnally, Carless McAnally and Jim McAnally, sisters, Valera Shepard and Grace Rousan.
