Obituary
Henry Ford, age 82, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Baisch Nursing Center, DeSoto. Henry enjoyed watching STL Cardinals baseball, playing pitch, square dancing, playing the guitar, clog dancing, hunting, fishing and gardening. He held the record at Fremont High School for most points scored in a basketball game. He was a member of American Legion Post 283, VFW Post 2593, Missouri Fiddlers Association, I.A.M. Local 837 St Louis and First Baptist Church of Fremont MO.

He was born on May 20, 1937 at Fremont Missouri son of the late Floyd and Ruby (Burke) Floyd.

Survived by his loving family, wife Verna Mae (Pyatt) Ford of Festus; two sons, Gary (Beth) Ford of Festus, Terry (Connie) Ford of Hillsboro; sister Wanda Bayles of Poplar Bluff; 4 grandchildren, Paula (Mark) Oglesby, Alecia (Greg) Howard, Katie Lynn (Jonthan) Steward, Terry Ford, Jr. and 3 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother Melvin Ford and sister Thelma Williams.

Visitation is scheduled from 5 8 pm, Monday, November 25, 2019 at Mahn Twin City Chapel, Festus. Visitation will resume at 10 am, Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Fremont, MO, service to follow at 11 am. Burial at Gresham Cemetery in Ellsinore, MO.
