Larry Eugene Frans, Sr. 73, of Festus, Missouri, passed away June 25, 2020 in Mercy Jefferson, Crystal City, Missouri. He was born November 5, 1946 in Saint Louis, Missouri, to the late Clarence Amos Frans and Florence Maxine (Higby).

Larry worked as a warehouse associate for Procter and Gamble for 30 years until his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, teasing people, going to breakfast, but most of all he enjoyed the time he got to spend with his grandchildren. Larry proudly served in the Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.

He was a member of Twin City Church of Christ.

On June 1, 1968, in Hartshorn, Missouri Larry was united in marriage to Barbara Jeane Pittman and to this union three children were born. They shared 52 years of marriage together.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jeane Frans of Festus, Missouri, his children Larry and wife Jamie Frans, Jr. of Mansfield, Texas, Jeff and wife April Frans of Evans Mills, New York, and Bethany and husband Rick Mortensen of Windermere, Florida, his grandchildren, Kathi Frans, Lilly Frans, Jackson Frans, Owen Frans, Avin Mortensen, Jack Frans, Zelia Mortensen, and Zamora Mortensen, his puppy, Snowball, other relatives and many friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Amos Frans, his mother, Florence Maxine (Higby), his grandson, Zachary Mortensen, his father-in-law, William Pittman, and his mother-in-law, Thelma Pittman.

Services will be held at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins, Festus, Missouri, June 30, 2020 at 11:30 am with Patrick Adam officiating. Interment will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St Louis, Missouri.

Friends will be received at Mahn Twin City Chapel, Festus, Missouri Monday, June 29, 2020, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
