Ernest Randolph "Randy" Throop, 63, of Barnhart, Missouri, passed away, Friday, July 17, 2020 in Mercy Hospital South, Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born October 24, 1956 in Saint Louis, Missouri, son of Ernest Eugene Throop and Bonnie Belle (Risinger)Throop.
Ernest worked as a plumber for the Plumber Union 562 until his retirement in October 2018 In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, building things, tinkering with anything he could, fishing, but most all he enjoyed the time spent with his family especially his grandchildren.
On, November 28, 1981 in St. Louis, Missouri he was united in marriage to the love of his life Cheri Lynn Adams. They shared 38 years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife, Cheri Lynn Throop of Barnhart, MO, his three daughters, Christina Jo Pate of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Ashley Renee Rose and fiancÚ Timothy Kopec of Festus, Missouri, Rebecca Lynn and A.J. Vernon of Herculaneum, Missouri, his grandchildren, William Barbee, Elizabeth Barbee, Robert Barbee, Matthew Bailey, Alexis Loud, Carson Kopec, Randi Vernon, Corbin Kopec, Nora Vernon, and Briar Kopec, his four brothers, Louis Throop of Ellington, Missouri, Stanley Throop of Ellington, Missouri, Kenneth Throop of Arnold, Missouri, and Scott Throop of Ellington, Missouri, his nieces and nephews, Jarred Throop, Jordan Throop, Jessica Throop, Devin Throop, Lucas Throop, Kenneth Abram, Andrew Abram, Cody Bailey, Kenneth Bailey, and Russell Bailey, other relatives and many friends.
Ernest was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Eugene Throop, his mother, Bonnie Belle (Risinger) Throop, and his son-in-law, Michael Mason Rose.
Friends will be received at Mahn Twin City Chapel, Festus, Missouri Friday, July 24, 2020, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
