Obituary
Charles “Chuck” Damon Downs, Jr., 59, of Barnhart, Missouri, passed away, Tuesday, July 28, 2020 in Barnes Jewish Parkview Tower, St. Louis, Missouri. He was born October 25, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri, son of Charles Damon Downs, Sr. and the late Shirley Mae (Quick) Downs.

Chuck worked as a machinist at Sunnen Products Co for fifteen years. In his spare time, he was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his four-wheeler, boating, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

On, May 2, 1981 in Barnhart, Missouri he was united in marriage to Sharon Kay Ward and to this union one child was born. They shared thirty-nine years together.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Kay Downs of Barnhart, Missouri, his daughter, Krista and Jake Seiler of Pevely, Missouri, his grandchildren, Sophia and Jack,his father, Charles Damon Downs, Sr., of Imperial, Missouri, his brother, Dave and Tina Downs of, Hillsboro, Missouri, his brother, Mark Downs and significant other April Fisher of Barnhart, Missouri, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Mae Downs, and his sister, Kimberly Downs.

Funeral Services will be held, Sunday, August 2, 2020 at 12:00 p.m., at Mahn Funeral Home Twin City Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 10:00 a.m., until the time of services at the funeral home. Graveside services will follow at Shepherd Hills Cemetery, Barnhart, Missouri.

The family request that anyone attending the visitation or funeral that they wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Mahn Funeral Home Twin City Chapel, Festus, Missouri.
