Ellen Naomi Lavigne, age 86, entered into rest Friday, August 14, 2020 at her Hillsboro residence. She was a military wife for 22 years and a member of First Baptist Church of Hillsboro; she enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, reading, writing, spending time with her family but above all she loved her Lord and Savior. Born June 18, 1934, in Wappapello, Missouri, to the late Lauden Thomas and Beulah Opal (Poole) Adams.
Ellie is survived by her loving family which includes her husband of 68 years, Joseph Leo Lavigne of Hillsboro, son, Steven Wade Lavigne of Wildwood, daughters, Angela Faith Rutledge of Ellisville and Lori Sue Fisher of Hillsboro, 9 grandchildren, Brandi (Shane) Lunsford of Troy, Joseph (Brooke) Gianladis of Hillsboro, Kimberli Rutledge of Ellisville, Jason (Shanda) Gianladis of Hillsboro, Jessica Gianladis of Hillsboro, Zachariah (Olesya) Lavigne of Palm Coast, Florida, Adam (Anna) Lavigne of Orlando, Florida, Jacob Fisher of Hillsboro and Jordan Fisher of Hillsboro, 6 great grandchildren, Connor, Devin, Quincey, Abigail, Grace and Joshua. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Lauden Denzel Adams, sisters, Bernice Savage, Geraldine Hoxworth and Wanda Ford.
Pastor Jimmy Turner will officiate the service
