Memorials/Donations In lieu of flowers memorials, if desired, may be made to Wings of Hope, 18370 Wings of Hope Boulevard, Chesterfield, MO 63005 Obituary Billy Ray Carrithers of DeSoto, Missouri passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 at his residence at the age of 76 years. He was born on October 3, 1944 at Dudley, Missouri, the son of the late Robert and Cora Lee (Northington) Carrithers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Bobby Joe Carrithers and his sister Norma Jean Farley and his brother in law Bob Farley. Billy Ray was very involved with Wings of Hope Organization, he enjoyed woodworking, old trucks, tractors, original restoration naturally being center of attention. He was retired from McDonnell Douglas Aircraft where he had worked in Aircraft Manufacturing. He loved being with family and friends, he will be missed by all. Billy Ray is survived by his loving wife of 59 years and 1 month, Juanita (Gray) Carriters of DeSoto, daughters Terri (& Randy) Dempsey of Imperial and Regina “Jeannie” Carrithers (& Marty Hedgcoth) of Bonne Terre, sister Helen Pillow of Oklahoma and 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 pm on Friday, October 16, 2020 at the Mahn Funeral Home in DeSoto. A service will follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in DeSoto.
