Jerry Wayne Robbins, 75, of Festus entered into rest Wednesday December 30, 2020 at Evelyn's House Hospice in Creve Coeur. Jerry was born December 3, 1945, in Nashville, Tennessee.

He is survived by his loving family which includes a son: Marty (Roxanna) Robbins of DeSoto; daughter: Trudy (Craig) Robbins-Berkbuegler of Festus; sister: Katie White of Festus; and five grandchildren; Jared Berkbuegler, Brooke Berkbuegler, Cody Robbins, Madison Robbins, and Mathew Carter. He is preceded in death by his parents: Jasper Douglas and Lillian Gertrude (Hutchison) Robbins; wife: Lois Arlene (Martin) Robbins; brothers: Horace Robbins, Edward Robbins, Jimmy Robbins, Doug Robbins; and sister: Martha Rickman.

Jerry was a US Navy veteran. He joined the Navy when he was 18 and loved to tell stories about his adventures traveling around the world. But his favorite story to tell was about meeting the love of his life, Arlene. After they married and started a family, Jerry was a pipefitter for Doe Run Company for 26 years. He was the most caring husband, dad and grandpa.

To the end of his life, Jerry never missed an opportunity to spend time with family and friends. He enjoyed fishing and spoiling his grandkids. He was the life of the party wherever he was. He was a member of American Legion Post 253 and Festus Elks Lodge 1721. He impacted many lives and will be deeply missed, but was able to be with the love of his life for their 55th wedding anniversary on January 2nd.

Reverend Randy Gray will officiate the service.
