Karen Louise Hahn of Olympian Village, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at her residence at the age of 63 years. She was born on January 4, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of the late Jenny M. (Margiotta) and Fred J. Linnenbrink, Jr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerome Linnenbrink.
Karen graduated high school and attended business college, but chose primarily to be a homemaker and took great pride in doing so. She was a member of First Christian Church of Festus where she also served as a Deacon. She was a passionate supporter of Guide Dogs of America, enjoyed crafting, painting, and doing Stampin Up projects, but her greatest joy came from spending time with, and caring for her family and friends. Karen loved everybody she met and always looked after everyone else’s needs before her own.
She will be missed by so many, including her husband Michael A. Hahn of Olympian Village, Missouri, son Michael A. Hahn, Jr. of DeSoto, Missouri, daughter Jeannie Dierks of DeSoto, Missouri, brothers Ron (Katie) Linnenbrink of Washington, Missouri, Fred Linnenbrink of Bunker Hill, Illinois, and John (Jennifer) Linnenbrink of Wentzville, Missouri; a sister Tina Casper of Jerseyville, Illinois, sister-in-law Robin Linnenbrink of DeSoto, Missouri; grandchildren, Clayton Dierks, Mason, Dierks, Alba Richardson and Jaden Hahn, and numerous other relatives and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 11, 2021 at the Mahn Funeral Home in Desoto, Missouri. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 12th at 11:00 am in the Mahn Funeral Chapel with Pastor Lari Grubbs officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in DeSoto. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Guide Dogs of America, 13445 Glenoaks Blvd., Sylmar, CA 91342. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Mahn Funeral Home of DeSoto, Missouri.
