| Memorials/Donations Memorials to Wounded Warrior Project would be appreciated Obituary Charles Tom Roper, 75, entered into rest Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at his Festus residence. He was born September 19, 1945, in Eldorado, IL, to the late Charles and Marian (Wallace) Roper. Survived by his loving family which includes his wife of almost 33 years: Sandi (Corbitt) Roper; son: Jeff (Cuiping) Roper of Crystal City; step-son: Dan Lamson of St Louis; step-daughter: Juliana (Jeff) Chaney of House Springs; sister: Francie Roper of Springfield, MO; and grandchildren: Lisa Roper, Sara Roper and Grace Chaney. Tom was a member of Teamsters Local 604, a proud US Marine veteran who served in Vietnam; he loved classic cars and attending Car Shows, his cats, his grandchildren and thorougly enjoyed retirement. | |
