Obituary
Randel Earl Risenhoover, 74, of DeSoto, Missouri, passed away, Friday July 23, 2021 at his home surrounding by his family. He was born September 1, 1946 in Montrose, Colorado, son of Earl Benton and Evelyn Margaret (Johnston) Risenhoover.

Randel worked as a Boilermaker for Local 27. In his spare time, he enjoyed sitting in his backyard and watching nature, Cardinals baseball, but most of all spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Randel Earl (Christy) Risenhoover, II of DeSoto, his daughter, Julie (fiancé Matt) Risenhoover of Festus, his four brothers, Jimmie Risenhoover of McDonald, Tennessee, Bennie Risenhoover of Bonne Terre, Norval Risenhoover of Miden, Nevada, and Darrell Risenhoover of Vandalia, Illinois, his five grandchildren, Dakotah, Randel David, Jacob, Abbey and Ryan, his two great-grandchildren, Nevaeh and Emery, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Randel was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Ann (Swearingen) Risenhoover, his father, Earl Benton Risenhoover, his mother, Evelyn Margaret (Johnston) Risenhoover, his son, Craig Risenhoover, his brother, Bert Risenhoover, and his sister, Barbara Willis.

Memorial services will be held at Mahn Funeral Home, DeSoto Chapel, July 31, 2021 at 12:00 pm.

Military Honors will be held at Mahn Funeral Home, DeSoto Chapel, July 31, 2021 at 12:30 pm.

The family has requested that donations be made to the City of DeSoto Kennel, 1310 Public Works Dr, DeSoto, MO 63020.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Mahn Funeral Home DeSoto Chapel, DeSoto, Missouri.
