Charles H. Blum, 76, DeSoto passed away at his residence on November 24, 2008. Born in DeSoto on February 8, 1932, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Lottie (Politte) Blum. He is survived by his loving wife, Janet (Rundel) Blum.
Mr. Blum is also survived by 2 sons: Dwayne (Carol) and Cary (Teresa) Blum of DeSoto; a daughter Margaret (Doug) Wulf of Dalton, Georgia; 3 brothers: Bill (Frances) Blum of DeSoto, Gene (Linda) Blum of St. Peters, and Dale (Nancy) Blum of Crystal City; 2 sisters: Lila Medley of DeSoto and Mary Dowel of Kansas City; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sons: Charles W Blum and David A. Blum, and a brother-in-law Dale Medley.
Mr. Blum was a US Army Korean War veteran. He was an electrician for Vulcan Corporation in Georgia. He was a member of the Georgia Sheriffs Association. He liked to golf, do woodworks and work crosswork puzzles.
