James "Jimbo" Dennis Moseley, 63, of Ste Genevieve, MO entered into rest May 1, 2009 at St Anthonys Medical Center, St Louis. He most recently was employed 12 years as a Deputy with the Ste Genevieve Sheriff's Department and had previously worked for 18 years as a police officer in Memphis and had assisted in security for Elvis Presley. He was a member of Cross Point Church, Festus and was head of Ministry of Helps Dept for 17 years at Living Faith Ministries. He was a US Navy veteran and had served in Viet Nam. He is preceded in death by his wife, Vonnie (Dennis) Moseley.

He is survived by a son, Jonathan "Derek" (Shannon) Moseley of Festus; brother, David Raye (Robin) Moseley of Bixby, OK; sisters: Jimmie Earlene (George) Majors of Tulsa,OK, Mary Lou Carter of Nucla, CO and Alice Gaye (Floyd) Welch of Wagner, OK; and grandchild, Brooklyn Renee Moseley.

In addition to his wife he is preceded in death by parents, James Columbus and Zelda Mary (Archer) Moseley and brother-in-law, Jimmie Carter.

Pastor Bryan Smith and Rev Pat Smith will officiate service.

Family and friends will meet 9am Thur (05-07-09) at Mahn Funeral Home for procession to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
